Harimaupura
Harimaupura proper noun: singapore.
Proper noun
Harimaupura
Origin of Harimaupura
From Malay harimau (“tiger”) + Sanskrit पुर (pura, “city”), refrencing the legend that prince Sang Nila Utama named Singapore (Sanskrit सिंहपुर (siṃhá-pura, literally “lion city”) after seeing a lion.
